Purpose of the support
- To develop SMEs' skills and capabilities to enter foreign markets,
- To increase SMEs' share of foreign markets,
- To make SMEs players in international competition,
- To increase the number of SMEs that start exporting,
- To increase the number of SMEs that start e-commerce.
The first condition is being an SME. If the company qualifies as an SME, the programme's specific conditions must be checked.
Businesses wishing to benefit from the programme must:
- Have kept their books on a balance-sheet basis in the last approved financial year as of the application date.
- Hold a Domestic Trademark Registration Certificate as of the application date.
- Have exported in the last approved financial year. (This condition does not apply to businesses in the manufacturing sector or in sectors listed in the Priority Technology Areas Table.)
If the conditions are met, you can benefit from an incentive package of 300,000 TL to grow your exports.
Project Expenses Supported Under the Programme
1. Staff Costs
Costs of staff employed to work on exports are covered as a 100% grant with a ceiling of 90,000 TL.
2. Software and Hardware Costs
Software and hardware costs are covered at 50,000 TL each, up to a maximum ceiling of 100,000 TL, as 70% grant and 30% repayable.
3. Advertising and Promotion Costs
Digital advertising and promotion costs, advertisements in magazines printed abroad, catalogues designed in a foreign language, membership fees paid to e-commerce sites abroad and advertisements in airline magazines are covered at 20,000 TL each, with a total ceiling of 100,000 TL, as 70% grant and 30% repayable.
4. Overseas Trade Fair and Travel Costs
Stand and participation fees for trade fairs you attend abroad, and travel costs for customer visits abroad, are covered with a ceiling of 150,000 TL as 70% grant and 30% repayable.
5. Testing, Analysis and Certification Costs
Testing and analysis are covered with a ceiling of 100,000 TL and certification with a ceiling of 20,000 TL, with a total ceiling of 100,000 TL, as 70% grant and 30% repayable.
6. Service Procurement Costs
Export-related training, consultancy, design, overseas trademark registration, shipping and other service procurement costs are covered with a ceiling of 100,000 TL as 70% grant and 30% repayable.
The support period is a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 24 months.
The repayable part must be repaid at 0% interest in 6 equal instalments, one every 4 months, starting 12 months after your support project ends.
